About James Churchill
James Churchill is an Australian and internationally fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. He provides general orthopaedic surgical services, with a subspecialty interest in upper limb problems.

The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the human body, and is vital for positioning of the hands to provide function. Therefore issues with the shoulder can cause significant disability.
Elbow & Wrist Surgery
The elbow and wrist are complex joints and like the shoulder are vital for upper limb function. The most commonly seen complaints are arthritis and traumatic conditions.
Knee Surgery
Common knee conditions include arthritis, ACL tears & meniscal tears. James Churchill has a particular interest in treating sporting injuries of the knee.
Foot & Ankle Surgery
James has experience with forefoot surgery and ankle surgery. Commonly treated foot and ankle conditions include Bunions, Hallux Rigidus & Ankle Instability.
As a junior doctor, James was fortunate to work in Wangaratta. This time spent in North East Victoria was instrumental in influencing him to pursue a career in regional Australia. He feels privileged that he has been able to return to Wangaratta with his family, and to work in the community.
